About The Fine Print

Our Indiegogo campaign is over, but as a community organization, we rely greatly on the support of our wonderful readers. So if you’d like to make a donation or buy any of our cool Fine Print swag, head over to our donate page.

What Is the Mission of The Fine Print?

The Fine Print is an alternative, bimonthly publication based in Gainesville, FL. Our mission is to serve the Gainesville community by providing an independent outlet for political, social and arts coverage through original, local and in-depth reporting.

We’re not affiliated with any university, nor do we make any money. We do what we do because we care and we love it. Unlike The Gainesville Sun, which does a great job providing day-to-day local news, our purpose is advocacy journalism.
