We’re looking for talented, dedicated and creative people to join our staff.

The main way we work to achieve our goal of serving the Gainesville community is through our print publication and website. Opportunities available in these areas include:

Writing + Reporting
Graphic Design
Photography
Audio + Video Production
Illustration
Fundraising
Distribution

We also aim to serve as a community-building organization beyond our publication. In that light, we’re always looking for people interested in event planning, community outreach, volunteers to table at community events, etc.

If you're interested in WRITING, please send at least two writing samples to editors@thefineprintuf.org. If you're interested in PHOTOGRAPHY, please send at least three samples of your work to photoeditor@thefineprintuf.org. If you're interested in GRAPHIC DESIGN/LAYOUT, please send at least three samples of your work to layoutdirector@thefineprintuf.org. (If you're just getting started in layout, e-mail us and tell us what magazines or designers inspire you. We can give you pointers for layout and help you out.) If you're interested in ILLUSTRATION, please send a link to your portfolio or at least four to five samples of your work to artdirector@thefineprintuf.org. If you're interested in CREATIVE WRITING, please send your submissions to creativewriting@thefineprintuf.org. Please include "Staff Application" in the subject line or for creative writing "Creative Writing Submission." Thanks!
